What problem it solves
The tiring part of building your own start page is adding every site, icon and group by hand. Nav Packs turn that into a checkbox list: browse curated theme packs in the library and install what you want.
Every site is hand-picked, its URL verified reachable, with a proper brand icon rather than a scraped favicon
Installed sites carry provenance but behave exactly like manual ones — rename, re-icon, re-group freely
A three-step first-run wizard gets a usable desktop together in seconds
Bilingual: pack and site names have English counterparts that follow the interface language
Diagram: the whole nav-pack path — provenance stays attached, so uninstalling a pack only reclaims the sites that came with it.

Install: take just part of a pack
The library has three views — Discover, Installed and All sites — and pack details are grouped into horizontal tabs. Import a whole pack or tick only the sites you want.
Deduplicated by URL: sites you added manually are not duplicated and do not consume extra quota
A site may belong to several packs; removing one pack only deletes it once no pack claims it
Manually added sites never belong to a pack, so imports and uninstalls never touch them
Free tier imports 100 pack sites, Pro is unlimited; manual additions do not use that allowance
When the allowance is short the response says exactly how many are missing instead of truncating silently
Backup restore and data sync are never quota-checked — recovering your own data is never blocked.
Updates: the pack library lives in the cloud
Pack content comes from a cloud library, so new packs, added sites and fixed links reach your panel without upgrading the software.
Available updates surface in the library and on the home page, with one-tap update
Nothing is nagged when every pack is already current
If the cloud is unreachable the panel falls back to the pack library bundled with the binary
Sites behind the wall are no longer mislabelled dead after one resolution hiccup; genuinely broken entries are handled inside the library
Do not want to see a pack? Ignore it — a personal preference, reversible at any time.
Custom pack sources (Pro)
Pro users can register their own pack source: publish a manifest and pack files in the same format, which works well for a team internal set of company systems or machine-room gear.
Custom sources share the same install, dedupe and update logic as official packs
Sites from them also carry provenance, so removal only reclaims what they brought
